DentaLOOP®

Designed to treat oral and dental pain.

Proven to reduce pain and accelerate healing

The Assisi DentaLOOP is specially designed to use on dental and oral surgery patients. Paired with the Bonnet (sold separately), it is a convenient, hands-free treatment with optimal facial positioning.
The DentaLOOP is available without a prescription for animals under veterinary care. It is effectively used to help:
  • Speed recovery and reduce pain after dental extractions
  • Reduce healing time and pain after orofacial surgery
  • Reduce inflammation caused by oral conditions
  • Reduce swelling and improve tissue condition prior to oral surgery

Assisi LOOP therapy is proven effective

Targeted Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (tPEMF) therapy delivers a micro-current to damaged tissue that is precisely tuned to trigger an animal’s own natural anti-inflammatory process. The electromagnetic signal, which is one-one-thousandth the strength of a cell phone, stimulates cellular repair by upregulating the body’s own production of endogenous nitric oxide (NO).

Buy the DentaLOOP online

In addition to being available for purchase in many veterinarian clinics, the DentaLOOP can be purchased at the Assisi Online Store. Veterinarians can access Assisi’s wholesale prices and place bulk orders.

How to use the DentaLOOP

Start with two to four 15-minute treatments per day for acute or chronic and degenerative conditions.

Acute Conditions

  • Continue with 2-4 treatments per day for the first week
  • Taper treatment for the next 7-10 days or until condition is fully healed

Chronic & Degenerative

  • Continue with 2-4 treatments per day for 2-4 weeks and monitor the animal until you see improved mobility and less pain response
  • Taper treatment down to 1-2 treatments per day or less

We rely on veterinarians to assess the animal and to work with the pet parent on the best treatment protocols for each case.

Frequently Asked Questions

We offer a specially designed bonnet (sold separately) that can be used to hold the DentaLOOP in the ideal position to treat your pet’s mouth. Like with all medical devices, your pet should not be left unattended during use.
The pet will only wear the device during the 15-minute treatment session. Animals should be supervised during treatment to ensure the device stays in place.
Position the DentaLoop to run parallel to the underside of your pet’s muzzle or parallel to your pet’s muzzle depending on the issue being treated. Speak with your veterinarian to confirm placement of the device.
Yes, if your pet’s crate does not contain metal. Metal distracts the signal and may reduce the efficacy of the treatment.
While it is safe for you to use the DentaLOOP on your pet, please ensure the DentaLOOP is either below your waist, or have the DentaLOOP at least 6” away from the implanted device.
If you believe your Loop has a factory defect, please call our offices at 866-830-7342.
Due to the medical nature of our products, all items from our anti-inflammatory line, including the Assisi LOOP, the Assisi LOOP Lounges, and accessories, are final sale and cannot be exchanged or returned. This is for the health and safety of our customers and pet patients.
